Life is busy. Got married, bought a house, got a dog, new job. Yes a lot has happened in the last year or so for me (since the last LAN). I just haven't gamed for the longest time. I feel bad that no one has been able to pick up the slack and get an event going. It is a time consuming thing, and requires an amount of dedication that I just haven't been able to put my heart into...
Until now...
I know it may seem like a while off but if things workout, and Rob is onboard, we may be able to swing a LAN this fall. COD4 would be the game hands down, and I'm hoping it will be a bit more casual. Likely something that will start around dinner and end late in the evening on a Friday. Just play some games, eat some pizza, and get back in the groove possibly for a larger LAN down the road.
I'm still too busy with other obligations/interests to get something off the ground sooner. Not to mention the hall we use is just too hot in the summer months. So all i can say is stay tuned and maybe talk to Krush or Rob at the store in the comming months to see if something is on the horizon.
My appologies to everyone out there who's been wanting to LAN, it still doesn't seem that the interest is quite there, but hopefully when the summer draws to a close we'll see enough interest to kick off a good party.
Until then definitly check out wildbohrs LAN. Dude puts on a good time. If it corresponds with my schedule this summer you'll see me there with a few old friends.
Hey I can relate accept you need to add a kid to the mix lol... I hope gaming starts to take off again maybe when BF3 comes out or the new Call of duty.
