Popped them into Hali Newf's rig since AMD is taking their sweet-ass time in releasing 990fx chipsets. Turns out they work just fine at @1600 1.65V, so I'd have to recommend this pack to anyone who wants a pile o ram on the cheap.

The place I got it from has a Sandy Bridge version and a non Sandy Bridge version, for like 2 dollars more.

Well I didnt realize it at the time but I had my bios manually set with the frequency and voltage. Turns out it forced steve-o's ram to 1600 Mhz up from 1333 and was stable as all hell - with stock timings too. My bet is tho it woulda done that nice OC on less volts. Being that it was apparently rock stable there, its most likely capable of much more.

Nice flippin' ram. Looks sweet as well. Nice buy Steve-O ! Now you can have 17 IE windows open, burn 4 dvd's, convert 7 more to ntsc, play wow while having 9 virtual machines open too LOL

and still have enough left over to post crazy photos to the MB forum.

I've used G.Skill DDR3 in my last 3 builds... it's all been great, no compatibility issues and has run at or above the rated timings and at the recommended or lower voltages.

I've got an 8GB kit of the PC10666-GBXL in my Sandy Bridge setup.
