Hey fella's,

I am wondering what is a good setting to O/C my sapphire 5850 card. I don't want to fry the card or anything. But like to get a boast. Thanks for the recommendations. Sure Steve-O will have some suggestions. :P

The max settings sapphire allows should be easily obtainable and stable.

I take it that you use ATI tools. Not MSI Afterburner

I could have sworn they were BIOS locked even if you used afterburner.

I use CCC but I can go up to insane clocks with my Asus card

step one: open Catalyst control center

step two: navigate to the overclock area

step three: slide both sliders to max. Yes max, all the way to the right.

Step four: enable manual fan control and set fan at a mere 35%

Step five: Apply.

LOL All kidding aside, max it out. It will run cool and without one single issue. Dr_bend has the asus volt modded edition so he can nail insane clocks. These cards are amazing. Be confident that the card wont fry lol unless you got a shotty psu

I am running my fan at 50% currently as it's pretty hot down here...
