With my motherboard going I am replacing a bunch of things (mobo, CPU, RAM and power supply). Then yesterday while surfing the interweb I came across a deal on the Sapphire 5870 2GB Eyefinity 6 Edition card for $200 with a $20MIR. Even though I don't game anymore and I only have one 20" display I figured that I might as well replace my 8800GT since I am going to be buying everything else anyways.



I bet my wife will really see an improvement in her Photoshop work.

I still can't believe she gave in on the purchase lol

But I guess now I will need to find a new game to start playing. Anyone have any good FPS games they recommend?

I saw this deal last night but I think by the time I noticed it the time had expired already. I guess I wasn't planning on upgrading until sometime this summer anyways.

Bulletstorm looks good but only seen it available for console.

isnt bulletstorm built from the unreal engine? I watched the trailer and it certainly looks like it so it would be one smooth gameplay

Bulletstorm is out but is a Game for Windows Live so if that bothers you.. just released a few days ago. Mixed reviews on it. Out of the gate it has console-itis. Apparently you can tweak it to be more PC like though. I wish it wasn't $60 and I will probably get it once its like $30.

Crysis 2 is due march 22nd (demo march 1st). If that interests you at all.

My fave game series of all time is Unreal Tournament. I think I logged more time on the original Unreal Tournament then I did in class at college. So I will definitely look at Bulletstorm
