yeah this card kicks ass. totally out preforms my 8500 oc or not. i wont need the 2nd card till well after the price drops.

ok one question.
everytime i reboot the resoloution drops from 1280x1024
when i reboot 1024x768

the card is an evga so i went to there site to get the drivers.
im runnin gvista ult x64

get the drivers from nvidia, the manufacturer drivers are usually out of date.

ok i got yhr nvidia drivers off there site. and it still does it.

Hello, it looks like you are running Vista. That might be the cause of your problems. Might I suggest trying the Windoze XP experience. Unless you need the x64 version, which is slightly harder to get at.

Open Task Scheduler ( All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Task Scheduler)

Then go to "Task Scheduler Library/Microsoft/Windows/MobilePC" .

Then disabled "TMM"

This is no doubt the culprite because I have not had a single problem in over a week. Just to make sure this was the culprite, I tried enabling "TMM" again a few days ago and immediately had the problem start again, so I just disabled it again and have had NO problems.

Disabling "TMM" has not adversely effected my system at all
