I hope you didn't start with 10mhz increments... That's a lot of movement.

That's a 52% improvement. That's pretty freaking sweet.

My GTX only goes from 575 to 661, so you're doin better than I am (but only stock cooling.)GTX still kills your card, but that's a sweet overclock dude.

I'm pretty lazy and even I try to stick with 5MHz increments when overclocking. ;) You probably don't have to worry much though because it's not until you start messing with the voltage that you really run into permanent damage.

Programs like RivaTuner overclock via software so you'd have to have it start up when you boot in order to always have your card overclocked. You would have to flash the cards BIOS to permamently set it's clock speeds but it's not worth the risk and I find that overclocks have to be toned down after a while when the heatsinks start getting dirtier and the thermal compound becomes less effective.

I would just get in the habit of starting the program before you game so that way you have the speed when you need it, and it will be clocked to default when you're on the desktop in 2D mode when it doesn't need it.

Absolutely, though I think you mean GTS, not GTX. If you can get 2 for around $200 you should buy it immediately. I've seen a lot of them go for ~$200 each.
