does anyone have this mobo. or even that combo i need some oc help. when i run cpuz the multiplier keeps going from 12.5x to 6x how can i stop this because i can feel the difference and its rather annoying.

The above suggestion will "fix" it but really your chip is scalling down when the extra power is not needed and is a good feature to have enabled imo for power savings.

i have this board, and i have the same problem with cpuz, its not reading correctly at any time. no iodea wtf its doing. and i have all the intel extra shit disabled. i use sisoft for measuring, at least that shows the correct mhz

sorry about not posting my result for so long. i got my e5200 stable 24 hrs on prime 95 at 3.5 ghz 280*12.5 fun gta 4 at 45 degrees after 3 hours of gaming and idles at 32-35. im very happy with my first stable over clock i think ill try to get it up to the higher 3s. if anyone want my settings i can email them to you. i also was successful with a 333*10.5 clock but its lower fsb

Mind you all electronics can vary to a degree even if the same model. But yeah a baseline can be a great asset.
