no such thing as "over" anything with a peltier system ;) only overclock

STOP TEMPTING MEEEEEEE :evil:

I run 1.450 stable @ 4.0 Ghz no problem. If I did have a better means of cooling such as ronedogg's setup. I would go with higher...

In all honesty and this is personaly me. I try to avoid anything over 1.5v for me.

On both my e8400's I got 4.0 ghz @ 1.450v

Xnigmatek SDT 1283...It rivals with the TRUE...so temps bother me..however i got the guys at the local shop to install since i struggled too much with the push pins..and im wondering how much of my AS5 they used..i just took the side off and pushed down on the tower..and could hear the TIM squish away...they installed it weeks ago...added another 120mm fan to the optical drive cage...brought the cpu temps down to 47 cores at 57-54 58-56

Okay, heres a small update...

been playing around with case configuration, and cable management...etc..so i moved my HDD up to the top 2.5" drive bay(where the floppy should be) dropped my temps almost 5c cpu&system, and dropped cores&gpu about 2c so i guess there was a hot spot building

right now i am running orthos full load getting temps of

33 system
52 Cpu
31 HDD
58 core0
56 core1
cpu voltage is at 1.24v
memory is running at 1:1 400mhz 2.1v

Personal experience and me having a TON of it. Do not Overvolt +1.6v especially with improper cooling,

umm..

My example for 4005mhz AIR.

9X Multiplier
1.46v
Prime 95 Stable 28 hrs. Turned it off. No errors.

core0= 51
core1= 52
core= 43

Not fucking bad...

Now to install my new latest and greatest and try it =)

cya soon!

great job on the overclock

altho i do see that chip hitting 4.5ghz stable
just a suggestion :D

now if you wanted to get into TEC Water cooled system you can hit 5ghz with that chip just dont let the voltage get over 1.725 :lol:

or you can always bring it to me and ill over clock it for ya :D :D :D
