After much.. trouble.. I got the drivers working and found a helpful link.
http://www.overclock.net/ati/633816-how ... i-gpu.htmlWorks great so far, I've gained maybe 200 on a 3dmark.. going from 850 to 900 I think... although since my cpu is at 3ghz maybe when I ramp it up tomorrow after work we'll see a bigger improvement!
OoOoo I gained close to 1,000 that time... no "solid" benchmark yet. I'm just re-running the SM3.0's right now. Eventually I'm gonna sit down, get some hardcore numbers. Try and hit the sweet spot again CPU wise before I go out and buy my watercooling (which by the way the forum was soooooooo helpful!) I know what I want now. So I want to be able to post the extra OCing I'll reach as well as the temps when i set up my water/liquid cooling. So far its Swiftech I'm looking at but if anyone has suggestions on a better reservoire, or pumps.. shoot cause I'm interested.
Also there might be a coolmaster V8 up for sale if i get the liquid cooling set. This is a dumb question but the copper blocks must get hot? Would it be beneficial if fans also cooled the waterblock ? or would it be meaningless. I was just thinking what if the worst happened and I ran out of coolant, or my pump shut off..
