Steam version for MW2 (so i've been told) didn't even work until well into the next day. Whereas the B&M store version worked right away.

PS3 and 360 users can buy it at midnight, and it'll work at midnight. I have no reason to believe that the PC version would be any different.

New Vegas was the same situation, even if you picked up the retail version steam would not unlock it till 12AM PST.

Well whatever, in any case roomy is picking up the PS3 version and he'll be happily playing right off the bat

I'm buying it on steam. I work Tues and Wed night anyways. Have to wait till Thurs to sink my fingers on the Keyboard to play lol

I am going to pick it up on Friday, earliest I will be able to play anyway.

I remember going to Futureshop for the mid night madness for MW2. People trying to run you over when the doors opened up. Waiting a hour in line. Naw, I will go the easy Steam way for this one. I get 5 mb/s. But may be a tee bit slower with everyone else with the same idea. But still easier
