Apparently is OC's well (to what end I don't know). They got rid of the "low temp bug" so now super cool solutions like liquid nitrogen and the lot can be to get some stupid high (6+ GHz) numbers. From what I've seen the 940 (3.0GHz) hits 3.6GHz every time from the 5 sites I've looked at.

I've decided to get a 60GB SSD drive instead, and see how that goes. For a little more than 1/2 the price I'll be getting a significant overall increase in the I/O portion of the computing experience. Since I don't use my gaming computer for anything other than gaming I don't really need to buy a lot of HD space, and I also have another 74GB raptop sitting around just in case something happens.

looks like people are having compatibility issues with boards that are supposed to support them.

Are we talking about the Phenom II's or SSD drives here?
