Very nice piece of hardware.

I haven't looked at the price but I doubt I should even bother.

But I sure can dream :D

Need I mention very clean PC!

Going to be expensive, just the RAID card is about $500.00 USD.

If you're willing to give up a PCI-X slot, then it should be fine.

I read from somewhere that it's supposedly 4x256GB SSD's (from OCZ I'd hope) running on 4 SATA II channels in some sort of RAID-0 config.

Obviously that mobo is some X58 500$ juggernaught (bïtch!) with all sorts of x16 slots, I have no idea if it's going to work for us mere mortals, but then again it's not targeted towards the "sane" market segment anyway.

I don't know if I was more shocked by the numbers that drive was putting out or the fact that OCZ put their name on a relatively ugly piece of hardware... then I found out it was still in the development phase. ;)

Ugly is cool though, technology wise! If it's inside the computer case it can be put together with tie wraps and bubble gum if it'll save 5$ :P

I should rephrase that. It's not so much ugly as it is plain and ordinary for OCZ. I'm sure the production units will be shiny aluminium cased and have an under carriage glow... possibly with spinning rims as well... ;)

Modular, pretty good idea. Just keep on adding 256MB sticks depending on your paycheck.
