Anyone looking forward to this mmo? Supposed to be released sometime 2010.

Looks pretty neat from what I see.

Man I wish I could get excited for an mmo. Friggin games suckkkkk. Last one I even bothered playing was Matrix Online and it was mediocre at best. Coming from an FPS'er though lol

Well I originally quit WOW for the greater good and focused on buying a home.

But after time I wouldn't mind getting into another.

But im sick of the same MMO theme. Get the best gear from the best dungeons and in a matter of months an expansion comes out. Same with arenas as well.

I'm hoping TOR is a bit different.

I think the onnly MMO that is currently on the rise in accounts is EVE Online. I know wiw is dropping slightly now but will still remain the leader for the next 3 years (predicted by mmorpg.com).

In order to do another MMO i'll have to build another gamer PC. Hopefully by then ski will sell his i7 setup with that sweet sweet 975 extreme. 8)

Matrix Online was a huge phayl. But I've tried the WoW's and the Warhammers and Eve online, none of them give me that fast action, fast reaction, finesse based experience that I get from action games like shooters and the likes.

I'm a sucker for carnage lol

You guys are gonna get what you wished for... WoW 2. ;) JK. WoW is evolving so there's no need for a sequel really.

I'm going to argue the evolving.

I think it has evolved to the point of naxxramas. After that ulduar was unleashed and arena has gotten broken more.

With ulduar if you were not in a good guild you were hooped. So I think wow will make expansions and continue the loop for 3 more years till more players will drop off.

But also there is no doubt in my mind that wow will live for another 10 years.

A bad/poor change is still evolution though right? WoW might be at a standstill for the moment, because of lack of incentive for the company, but it still has the ability to evolve and if there was some competition I'm sure the player-base would be seeing more but as it is why bother I guess.

Wow has evolved alot since original release.

World PVP to BG's to Arena's then expanding more back towards objective world pvp such as halaa and Wintergrasp.

Going from nothing but tank and spank fights to fights where everyone has to do something, look at how they have upped the challenges.

Look at how each class has the ability to do more. Vanilla warriors were tanks only, pallys were healers. Now look at it.

You will see wow evolve more and more til it doesn't even resemble the original game other then graphics and names.

I admit I do miss pre bc though at times. When things weren't so complex as they are as well.

Too bad there weren't any emulated servers that were just pre bc

WoW is some disjointed series of hodgepodge ideals smashed together with a rusty hammer and shoved down 10 million throats a day. There is no flow, there is only a bunch of mini games sandwhiched between what is a storyline that only one of the "redneck comdians" could come up with on their spare time.

It's a bloated, unbalanced shambles, totally ignored by the people who make it and loathed by the people who play it.

The only people who arn't complaining are the overpowered, the silver spooners and the shareholders.

This isn't Blizzard's game, heck it's not even Vivendi's game. It's driven by the almighty buck and a bunch of datacenters that are killing the planet.
