well if it was snow comming down like that - you wouldnt see much in the way of distance.

I was just out in it and I am downtown at work. Its pretty figgin windy, enough to shake a vehicle a little. Even so - I didnt think winds were high enough to cause power outages, spotty NS power for ya :P

Charging my usb chainsaw awaiting zombification of downtown. See photos ;) hehe

Funny thing...

A cabbie told me that there was a sh*t load of people at the airport this morning getting the hell out of halifax.

Makes you wonder why they put panic in the back of peoples' minds. Knowing full well it would get people to head out and get groceries, provisions - more nervous people on the road = increased chances of accidents.

sure businesses' made profit yesterday.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

They always hype this shit up to sell.

Sex doesn't fly off the coast of NS but Hurricanes do!

at least we can't say they didn't warn us.

now there's the annoyance of everyone running down to the coast line to see the waves... such as they are...

I'm disappointed to not see in the news some retarded family going to close to the water and dealing with the inevitable.

So much for that. Lost power at 7pm for 40minutes, storm was basically already over, so I sat outside and drank rum.

Topsecret..looks like what you asked for came true.

In today's Metro newspaper front page...

"three teens washed out at peggy's cove."

Apparently wandering too close to the waves and got washed out. One teen was under for ~3 mins before getting pulled out. You ask me - hope they learned a lesson.
