oop's looks like my sig is out of date with my 1TB ressurection.

I still can't beat my '05 score from 3870's (on a crippled P965 board no less)

thats a good gpu score. I ran both tests, everything stock, cpu and gpu. No overclocking. I am going to overclock the gpu's and giver another shot on entry then performance so I can see if the extra watts needed are worth it.

With 2 6pin molex's per card, it probably isnt worth it - 4870's are pwr hungry

I never checked to see how much the wattage increased when I overclock my card. I'm going to check.
I remember when i had my old Intel 3ghz Prescott cpu and 9800XT. The lights would go dim when I overclocked it. haha
I get 14k in Vantage completely stock. My processor is a bottleneck at stock 2.66ghz.

If you overclock your processor and cards, you will get a nice boost for sure. Probably gain a few thousand points.

your cpu score is on par with mine @ stock however, you run a 5870 which would kill two 4870's.

I need a gpu replacement lol
