another run with only a 200Mhz oc on the cpu. GPU is stock.

That 200mhz overclock made a nice bump in your score. You need to be at 3.8-4ghz to to get the most from your cards.

Yes I noticed just about a 2 grand bump on just a 200mhz OC - stock volts. Well worth it.

a difference of 2,284 from stock cpu. Worth the 400Mhz @ stock vcore.

the 4870's are running stock. They are decent cards so there is no need to OC those. They far from get stressed with anything I play so no need to double the wattage consumption. Not worth the small gain.

The 400Mhz oc on the cpu does much more scorewise so I am doing that as I dont have to touch the vcore at all and its perfectly stable. Just had to up the multi a few steps and hit F10 then enter. lol

Just purchased 3dmark vantage, pcmarkvantage & 3dmark06 instead of using hacked copies.

CPU Score: 18027


I noticed my cpu score is devestatingly lower than kiwwanna's is but he has a i7 920.. I'm gonna crank it up!!!

(thats at 210mhz x19 or 3.99ghz!!)
