It didn't need any of my help to make it look good, it does that all by itself. I just gave a new home...It was just wasting away for 8 hours at Mysterybyte heh.

Tried using the molex->6 pin PCIe cables, the video card didn't like that . So I'm stuck with them going in the front, unless I get some extension cables or whatever. I was directed to bend the power cable for the SATA tray, works fine. Plugged the other fan in for the aformentioned tray and it blows (thanks HN).

Maxxed out the vid card at 86C (60C idle) running furmark (905/1275), I think that's lower than before. Now to just plug in the H50 whenever MB gets it! I also got some proper thick foam for the top holes. For the record 43C idle, 60C load (Hyper Pi). I guess that's OK for having the fan at a fairly low speed. We'll see what the ol 100$ Dihydrogen Monoxide setup gets me.

Time to learn how to solder and make some extensions.

Got the H50 installed!
Idle 32C (down from 43C), load 44C (down from 60C).

Man that backplane is a real lifesaver heh.

Thar she blows, super quiet, the fan on the rad runs at 1600RPM.

If I ever go out and get some super glue or whatever for that foam, I can get rid of the junky twist tie (which i can't see anyways under the desk).

The exhaust fan on the case that is by the mobo is 140mm, which is where i originally want to put it, but the rad fits all nice and perfect on the top. I think the bottom intake fan does a good enough job bringing in cool air I relaly don't want ot bring in air from the top (and more dust crap to clean).

The temp difference is awesome. Worth the moolah ! Huge plus not having to remove the board to attach the plate - Ample room and options to make those kinda installs headache free.

Just a thought.

I wonder what the performance on the pump is being a self contained unit. You could (if you wanted to get creative you could try adding a resivoir to increase dissipation of heat. Or even just a bigger rad and fans and still have a clean setup!


Mind you it may be a pain in the ass to refill.

And thusly defeating the purpose on buying a totally self-contained, no mess no fuss no thought involved water cooling setup.
