Hmmm, I guess I've never noticed them before. Was it for the reference board or in ones retailers actually sold... or both?

Dunno, that's what I've read.

The pictures are in english though :P

Those are actual "old" Tesla boards, not GF100 (GTX480ish) cards. 5 grand a pop! No wood screws so they must be legit!

They can't be using that much power anyways, since they only seem to have a 6-pin in each card. Where one would get a PSU that had 4 6pin and 4 8pin PCIE, I have no idea.

Nope, only 3! I guess a 3kW unit would be needed!

Those cards are meant for rendering farms so they'd be designed to be fine when stacked like that in use.

As usual another Nvidia power hure.

a 6 pin and an 8 pin wow. I really wanna see some reviews on this card and the power requirements. I would be very surprised if its on par with any 5 series card.

42a and 600w min? good luck in finding a psu that is 600w capable of 42a unless I am way off which is possible. I am thinking the 800+ watt range to pull that off.

Note the "Gigabyte ATI 5000 Series models now support DX11" text on the box.

This looks like a Need For Speed Shift marketing thing for making Xbox version connect to the PSN!

298W for a 480, even more for O/C versions!

Apparently Team Green decided to change the wattage on the cards, like, last week. So now the AIB's are scrambling to see if their cooling solutions still work for the official launch on the 26th.

This is all quite fun for a Monday!

298w - wow. I was right. Another space heater. If ATI can do it, why can't Nvidia?

Apparently it's only 250W TDP now.

Here are some totally useless benchmarks, that are probably fake, not because they are all skewed towards NV (I'm still pretty sure Fermi doesn't have proper DX11 support yet).
