Why would anybody even bother playing something that unbalanced.

yet another massive ( and thats an understatement) disappointment. I have that kit and have never ever used it - I wasn't aware of the huge unfairness with it.

They made the billion sure. But I will say one thing with utmost certainty - I will not buy another modern warfare.

Apparently the 2 bigwigs at IW got canned for doing some crazy stuff. Dunno how/why Activision can actually do that, considering anything short of murdering kittens would be a reasonable way to make money at Activision.

Personally I hope their offices burn down for making such an awesome game suck so terribly.

It's made for console. Trust me, I spent the last month playing it on 360. It just plays better on a console with everyone doing cheap unbalanced stuff lol.

If there were a modding scene then we could balance it for competition but IW has everything locked down like fort knox so don't get your hopes up.

Buy Cod4 instead...

FDOTFL

Quote:
Activision has announced the formation of a new unit to run the Call of Duty series, also confirming reports of the departure of former studio heads Jason West and Vince Zampella, according to Reuters. Word is: "An Activision spokesman declined to provide any details beyond the filing, but said the departure of the Infinity Ward executives and the decision to form a new business unit for 'Call of Duty' were unrelated." The story also says: "The new 'Call of Duty' business unit will be led by Philip Earl, who currently runs Activision Publishing's Asia Pacific region. The company said it will look to expand the brand into new geographies and genres, and focus on higher-margin digital online content. Steve Pearce and Steve Ackrich will lead Infinity Ward on an interim basis." The report also says: "The newest "Call of Duty" title, scheduled for release this fall, was developed by a different Activision studio, as was another title in the series expected to be released in 2011." This is expanded by Gamasutra where they confirm rumors that start-up studio Sledgehammer is working on the 2011 game, while this year's installment in the series will be created by Treyarch. According to Edge Online, Sledgehammer's contribution to the series will be an action/adventure, rather than a first-person shooter.

milk it into oblivion...

So if the "Asian Pacific" region is now running Infiity Ward, it means we'll get some sort of Aion stype CoD game next. Why not just let NCSoft design it, while yer at it.

Wow! A whole 3 maps for 800 points (10$, dunno I don't use a 360). At 12 million or so copies that's what, another 120 million dollars into the coffers of the morally bankrupt Activision. This isn't going to go over well for the PC userbase.
