Just letting y'all know if you wanted to watch the series, it premiered last night on HBO. Too bad there is too much drivel for me to care about to pay 15$ a month for it in general. I'm getting the 720p version via torrent and plan to watch 'em all in a row when they are done (I think 10 eps). I'll still be buying it in Bluray, and even if it has the same production value of Band of Brothers did 9 years ago, it'll still be truly epic.

I saw an ad for that last night; for a split second I wished that I got HBO. I'll definitely be checking it out at some point.

I've been looking forward to this for some time now but I'm still going to wait until all the episodes are out as well. I hope the story and characters are as good as the original Band of Brothers.

I got the HBO+TMN Eastlink "deal" fro $15/month so I can watch the series in HD till the BluRay comes out just in time for Christmas.

So far episode 1 was pretty good, a little slow but so was BoB when it started. With Hanks and Spielberg how can it not be great?

Episode 1 of BoB was really slow I found but it was funny watching "Ross" screw up and be a jerk. :)

LOL Ross, I am just rewatching BoB, watched it a few years back and loved it, but well it's on TMN right now so why not.

I'm going to finish watching BoB before I start into TP.

If you have a DVR eastlink box. You can go to ONDEMAND and select free zone. Should see HBO free. They had the first episode in there. But since removed it. I am hoping they put ep 2 on it. 8)
