I am wondering if I can crossfire my 5850 with a 5830? I checked ATI's site and the 5830 isn't on the crossfire chart.

It should work, it's the same core just crippled a bit more.

Save for another 5850. That 5830 is going to rape your PSU when combined with the 5850.

Yeah pretty excited. Moreso than Steve-o at the beer store !

going to run a few benches to see how she runs tomorrow. Then when prices drop from the sky , fire in another for xfire.

Hows yours running phonix? worth the $745? LOL

Holy crap, that's like what people in the UK would pay for it.

More like $318...

And worth every penny!

I've pretty much tested the whole rig with everything that a hi end rig would be used for (games, design/development/CAD, video encoding, realtime rar extraction) and it keeps kicking a$$.

Oh and JC2 is awesome and this card loves it, just not with vsync.

A small bit of torture, at least you'll get a big boost in performance from the 3650!

Ya, I think you are going to love the 5850. I love mine so far. Let me know how you like it. Hali_Newf. I think to O/C this card. You are better off using MSI afterburner. But I haven't tried it yet.

All you're doing is adjusting the clocks, nothing more, so CCC is ideal because it does not require extra software to adjust the clocks. Basically I'm saying they're all as good as the next, but CCC is built in (weet!).

CCC ain't that great. I brought my memory up to 1400 last night, it's test said everything was fine, 1second of Furmark proved that wrong. LOCK.
