Looks good! Did you clearcoat it? It just doesn't seem to have the gloss i was expecting but maybe you were aiming for flat black. In that case it looks like another coat is in order.

Frickin sweet though, I still haven't tackled interior case painting mainly cuz I can't justify $50+ in paint for a slight cosmetic change...

Yeah Krylon is Cheap. I have several cans @ home. $12 per can.

Its looking great. It doesn't "look" finished mainly because we are seeing reflections from the newspaper and what not. When she's all done it will look sharp.

Like you Denty, I prefer a black interior - Everything looks neater, cables, lighting etc. Looking forward to more photos of the mods and the build as ya getter' done!

When I upgrade my case in the future I am still leaning toward the CM690II advanced.

Think of it as a cheaper version of the 800D for those who can't afford one lol

They come out with one that comes with a clear side panel ( without having to order one) and I am sold. Best case in the $100 range. I do like the dark interior.

Denty's got a few mods up his renovation sleeves yet.

Yeah once again, product is higher priced here due to availability, Krylon never comes in in large amounts at central gotta buy other automotive stuff that costs alot more.

Screw you city slickers and your consumer options!

so I couldn't find my can of clear coat. I've decided to just leave it as it is, and started rebuilding. ive picked up some heat shrink and gonna cut the frontpanel wires to length and then hopefully find some nice colour sleeving, but in the meantime i finally have a day off to start moving into the new case. then i can start on the shark repaint

I actually like the flat black 'stealth' look. Just without the clear coat scratches are inevitable, thats what a sharpie is for though.
