No overclocking, but it still runs like a champ. MUCH faster than my old Pentium Dual Core E2180 setup.

alittle bit of cable managment and will look good....how do u like the 5770, i went from a 4850 to the Sapphire edition, (most ppl say its a waste of an upgrade) however, the power savings, and lower temp, plus dx111 and overclockability make it an awesome card. hell, it decreased my whole system temp by about 5C, and cpu temp by the same...

Agreed. some cable management needed there and with a little imagination as there isnt a whole lot of options with that case, but it can be done.

The 5770 isnt a waste of money really, it is an upgrade from the previous card and as long as you are happy with it, thats the main thing. It isnt a really sweet gaming card so if you aren't intending to play intense games, you're fine. I wouldnt mind a 5770 for my HTPC actually.

You have a PCI-E slot after all so if it's not doing what you need it to, swap it out for something better. That rig running stock should run pretty cool as well.

.

BC2, DX11, 1920X1080, High Settings, no aa, no hbao, constant 45-60fps...no frame lag at all..idles at 35-39, load is maybe 65-80 (unsure really)..my boosk, for a card you can have for around 160 bucks...pretty f'in good....ppl should hype more about it, plus, find the right deal, you can have 5870 frames for $100 less....it really is an underrated card...

I gotta agree with mav, the HD5770 is a great card. MS Flight Simulator X is brilliant with this card on 1920x1080, with AA and AF on, and everything set to the max with DX10 enabled, no lag at all. BF:BC2 also great, got 4x AA (dunno if I got HBAO on) on 1920x1080, no problems there. NFS Shift with 4x AA and 1920x1080 with AF same thing.

Possibly one of the best graphics card purchases I've made.

I also added two 12cm (120mm) intake fans at the front of my PC.

Also I have another 120mm intake fan on the side of my PC, noticeable in this photo:

the 5770 performs that good compared to the 5870 if you have two of them in crossfire and both are still 100 less then one 5870, but is still go with one 5870 then you can xfire it later on.
