haha Steve-O. The H50 is more expensive as is equal to a V8.

I would say go for a V8. They are amazing for an Air cooler, tho huge.

A friend of mine just built basically the same rig. Only diff would be the ram/psu. He went with Corsair XMS3 and a 750w Corsair psu.

Also, consider an SSD - Least one for the OS drive.

Good, or something you can get locally?

You might be pushing that BFG PSU a tad hard.

A 550W power supply IMO would be suitable for a system like his

That psu was the only pc part i ever bought locally, usually make a Halifax run once every couple of weeks.Have been running a arctic cooler rev 2 on the e6750 but i lost the amd mounting brackets .probably pick up another one though but have been considering the corsair h50.

The freezer is cheap and better than a stock cooler but it's not amazing and would suggest something better if you are planning to OC.

A V8 and H50 perform the same. Main difference is $$. A v8 cranking 100% is the same as the 120mm fan on a Rad when using the H50. You're choice there as both have everything to do with ambient.

I've always been partial to Thermalright. I did up a friends PC with a Noctua and that was pretty impressive as well.

Yeah man, I hear good things about those Noctua's as well. Online reviewer's love that thing. Haven't used one myself tho.

Fire in a few shots of the build to the thread !

WTG!

Nope that psu is fine for what you're using it for. It's a tad better than my CM eXtreme 500w that used to run my 4870 and now runs my 5850 fantastically!

Have you noticed I haven't been on here complaining about bad performance lately?!

I made inquiries about them before grabbing one for my ATOM, the consensus was, low end builds only. I'm a bit wary of Antec now as well, the TP3 650W I had was junk and not the re-branded Seasonic it was supposed to be.
