Really just a bunch of projectors, but cool nonetheless.

Rear projection though? Gross.

If OLED's panels make it to the market they can be put on (well "in" technically) flexible material so it would be neat if you could add screens and "bend" them as needed to add peripheral view. I think the bezel on OLED's would be much less distracting as well but personally I find any bezel in a game to be more distracting than its worth.

I am surprised that some manufacturers haven't figured out a viable solution to the bezel issue. Why not have sides that snap open allow the screen to pretty much touch another screen and the monitors can be joined and secured.

A while back I took apart a broken LCD panel at work and the actually LCD behind the glass/whatever other matte surface the display may have, is quite thin and not really attached to the front surface nor the light box in behind so my guess is it really needs all four sides of the bezel to keep things aligned well in cheaper monitors. Not to mention we're talking about a very small percentage of people who still own desktop computers who would want to do this; so what's in it for them right?

I built an LCD projector from an old overhead projector and lcd panel. The backlight was gone so it was toast. In this model, the pane was held together by a semi opaque bezel similar to hockey or medical tape under the actual plastic bezel. I still think it would be easy to improvise and get those panels together. Boy if I had 3 lcd monitors to spare lol.
