Just finished installing new psu and V8.after watching some youtube vids on v8 installs and comments on how hard it was i gotta say they must be nut's because it was simple and im not mechanically inclined.The v8 is amazing(so so quiet and my idle temps with stock amd cooler 40-41ish now 29-30 idle)and i used the stock tp that came with it,going to let the tp setup and then i'll start to push it,should be fun BUT i did lose about 700 points when i ran 3dmark06 with catalyst 10.4 so i may go back to 10.1 or 10.2 whichever one that gave me 19 306.
Later found out a switch on the motherboard for auto OC was on when i got that 19306 score so it was auto overclocked to 3.6

Yeah the V8 is the best air cooler I have used.

Still going to try for it but with temps outside of near 40 with humidity i think i'll hold off for a week.I actually lost interest in trying when my setup played every game i could throw at it BUT now im kind of getting bored waiting for some new pc game to come out so i will give it a try.

Nowadays im a poor laptop user. Maybe ill bench this laptop for fun..

With the 5850 overclocked using cat 10.11e's and a cpu overclock to 3.6 im at 19 595!I have my doubt's 3.8 is going to get me 20 000 but gonna try later.
