Well I seen the breast guy (best buy) flyer and they had the logitech G930 7.1 headset on for 30 bucks off so I picked it up.

Wireless and hours of use before it needs to be charged. Also stereo and 7.1 audio switchable, volume three programmable G keys as well all are easy to find while wearing them.

Sound quality is good. Games boom thats for sure. Its very ajustable and comfortable as well and covers the ears completely.

Also has a voice morph feature to make you sound like an alien, troll, chipmunk etc while in game lol I think I am going to keep em so I can game at a reasonable level while not waking everyone up.

well razor does make gear but i am unsure if the sound quality and options are the same. To each they're own, but I find razor gear overpriced.

At best buy they are 140 right now onl sale - $30 bucks off.

you will like them - they sound very good for the money and the mic audio quality is also surprisingly good. I do like the wireless feature, pretty sweet. Also quite comfortable and when something booms you will swear theres a sub in there somewhere lol What that boils down to is decent frequency response.

Razer gear is generally priced much lower than Logitech fyi. The Megalodon is one of the best 7.1 headsets on the market and is regularly priced @ 149. I have the Carcharias. It's not surround but my SB X-Fi's virtual surround works really well and gives comparable surround effect. It rocks my brain at even 75% volume. I do like that the 930 is wireless as I find myself constantly rolling my computer chair over my speaker wire. Which says alot about the wire on the Carcharias, because it hasn't hurt it yet lol.

My last headset the Plantronics Gamecom 367 also had a really strong wire. I only bought my carcharias because my gamecom snapped in half when my friend with an afro decided to stretch em over his head. I had it duct taped perfectly but I'm weird like that, I hate having something doctored up I want all my gear to look like the day I bought it.

well last night I was impressed. I walked around my entire apt with the headset on listening to music and it was as clean and clear as if I was sitting next to the pc.

You get what ya pay for I guess. But that is awesome.
