I'm gettin a good return this year! YAY!

Now, what to buy...

I kinda promised myself a new case. Not yet sure which one. Still got my eyes on the HAF X or 600T. I'd like something fancy looking with lots of features.

Should I grab a 6950? Not sure about this one. 6950 or 2nd 5850 seems to be a common question these days, I guess we'll have to see.

Decisions, decisions..

Just get a 1GB 6950. If eyefinity isn't important but you want bell and whistles of new stuff, perfect fit.

Last year I owed the government $400 and then six months later I got a letter saying they recalculated something and that I owed them another $100. I'll be happy if I get anything back but I try to think of it that I had the governments money interest free for 0-12 months to soften the blow. :(

have HR take an extra 10-15 bucks from each cheque man. that fixes that.

Ha! But I'd rather the extra money now, interest-free. Having to pay money back at the end of the year kinda sucks but it doesn't make or break me by any means.

I've known people with second jobs that put 100% of the earnings from that into their taxes.

Not sure if I'm digging the style of the 600T, just looks kinda..plain I guess. I finally saw a Storm Sniper case last night with my own eyes, god damn that's a big case. Looked great too, but then again, I can't have what someone else has lol, I'm weird like that.

Seriously considering the 6950 though, even though the performance boost would be minimal. I keep getting told or reading that it's a better idea to get a 2nd 5850 which will give me performance above a 6970, minus the improved tessellation features. And also this would allow me lots more wiggle room for upgrades, such as a good power supply, cooling solution and pretty much any case I feel like getting.

This is the first year in 4 years where I got a mentionable return. I've either owed or got a couple hundred dollars or so. I missed it! Thanks government! You're the shiz!!

well I did the Phantom cause of the look, the paint job, the room enough on the inside to fit a young adult, intigrated fan controller etc. Couple cons are the proprietary fans and no clear side panel. But I guess I maybe doing a little knit pickin'.

I suggested the 600T cause of sheer build quality. Corsair dont make crap. But Phonix, I'd say go flashy or go home! haha

Did my taxes today. I have one warning for everyone out there! Do your taxes yourself. If you think these tax companies like H&R Block don't make mistakes you're wrong.

I guess I failed to file an entire year's income tax last year. Even though I DID file it @ H&R Block and I DID get a return. They gave me money that was not rightfully mine. Now I owe every nickel of it. Worst part is they brought out my file for last year and it shows that they DID file my taxes, or at least that slip of paper says so.

I have no idea what happened, but I've been selling my return to these places for years thinking they knew how to properly get me my return.

Lies...

It only takes about 5 days to get your return from the CRA if you use netfile.
