I didnt bother with a fresh install to work from. I tried out the windows imaging thats built in.

It worked fine. If it didnt, I would try Acronis. The windows image was fine, it does however care about space so what it did was partition exactly what my 74g raptor was and made it look the same with the space, image the whole deal.

Seeing this, I went into disk management and blew away the partition and rebooted. All is well and speed is well somewhere around ludicris but not quite plaid lol ( yes spaceballs )

The Corsair 120 I have boasts 285Mb/s read and 275Mb/s write max. As mentioned earlier, for shitz and giggles I did a windows install. Once the files decompressed and began to write to the drive, it was complete in literally seconds. Buy one of these.

I like all the colors of this case.
I might get the red version as well, to replace the red alien case I have on kijiji.

I had a guy accusing me of spawning too fast in BC2. It was funny, but must be because of the ssd.

I have seen the red Phantom in person and will be doing a build in one as part of an ongoing class project. I want one for myself now, but i'm not sure if i want it in red, white or black... if they had a blue one i'd be all over that like flies on shi-.

those days went with $100 of painting supplies used on a $30 case only to have a bad can of clear coat shoot out a bunch of brown crap.

on the old MB forums there were several threads of my misadventures with case painting.

A few irks with this case.

- only exactly the number of stand-off's required for an ATX board were included.
- They didn't include any extra push lock pins (the ones that hold the filter in the empty top fan slot) in case you want to ditch their 200mm fan and move the side filter up to the top
- Screw holes seemed to have paint in them. I've seen coolermasters with the same problem though

Pluses.

- it appears as though there's a switch to turn off the stupid LED's on the 200mm fan
- impressive built in fan controller
- just enough room to tuck and tie all the un-used cables from a PC P&C Quad 750
- red is the new black... Ok it might not work well for team Green, but it's different from the plethora of Black cases out there. (black is the old beige  )

Iffy

- cut out in the mobo tray portion would not allow me to swap out my TRUE without removing the motherboard
- blue LED's (now that I know what size they are, they'll be going bye-bye)

Well Dr.B sent me the fan he really didnt like ( lol ) and it installed perfectly on the top space where it belongs. A big thank you to the Dr.

This fan had the pwr connector, plus a second two strand wire for the led. For the life of me I couldnt find a 2nd 2 strand connector. The 2nd pwr is there from the controller, but the two strand wasnt - least I could find it ( as I tuck everything away ). Got tired of looking and rigged up an adapter from a molex.

Side note ...my cpu temp went from 36 idle to 33 idle. Me Likey.
