Drop some nuts and pick one.

Old faithful is the Noctura. Why you need a new cooler... I donno. If your not at your wall. You're damn close.

Well the 4.3 clock i got up to was a one time run i dont run the system at that the V8 cant keep it cool enough at all and even at 3.8 it gets up to 58c at load and i cant even keep it at 3.8 in the summer and my tower is next to a open window, so looking for something better then the V8 and will prob go with the Noctua from what Ive been reading its the best for air and has even beat the h70 in tests. The cooler I had planned on getting was the Coolit ECO C240 but since the partnership of coolit ans corsair coolit is not longer in retail just production for corsair so no idea if i can even get one anymore.

Cooling is only as good as your ambient air temperature...

Ya turns out the mobo was only running the cpu fan at 50% 1000rpm not 100% at 2000rpm temps at load should be much lower now. And room temp is nice and cool with that open window brrrr lol. Im guessing some AC in the window for the summer in that same window next to the tower should to a world of good for ambient temp then.

More for your comfort than the computers, I would hope?

Steve-o is right on the ambient air issue.

IF you have a flat deck setup you can pick up a Coolermaster V10 and hardwire the tec to max I believe. That way you can do a fair attempt at sub ambient.

Mind you that cooler weighs a ton.
