It does match the case nicely but I donno... I'd have a hard time buying a mouse when you probably already have a perfectly good gaming mouse already. Plus buying a mouse without getting to try it first. I couldn't do it. ;)

yeah for the feel and size, I know. But it matches my case perfectly and I would take the plunge and try it I think. The features are decent too:

• Precision and Flexibility: 1600 DPI laser sensor with 1600/800/400 DPI settings out of the box
• Tracking speed of 30 inches per second and acceleration up to 20G
• Hardware DPI switch allows for driver-less DPI switch while in game without the hassle of drivers
• 16Kb Onboard Memory stores 1 profile of macros, dpi settings, and LED settings for gaming on-the-go
• Narrow and medium size ideal for users that prefer a thinner and lower profile form
• Ambidextrous design ideal for both left and right handed users
• LED on/off settings
• Teflon feet for effortless gliding on any surface
• 5 Key programmable mouse
• Immense customizability: Ability to modify default DPI settings individually, setup in-game macros, media keys, and X-Y sensitivity options
• Polling rate of 1000Hz

thank you for posting that link Flama - it was givin a decent review. just wish one could have a simple GUI similar to that of the coolermaster sentinel. One can choose different color combinations and what not.

Oh well, I hope the price point reflects the lack thereof. I still would buy it for the change and the color to match the case. Wonder if they will do up a glossy white keyboard with multi changeable LED accent lighting that suggests a new hair style each week.

Meh, 4000dpi less than my current mouse.

yeah true, but I have yet to use a game ( well for me its FPS anyways mostly) that would use any more than 1100dpi. Anything more than that and ya cant shoot anything as the smallest hint of movement puts ya way off.

Wasn't there also an article published recently about how DPI didn't really matter and that a $10 laser mouse was essentially as accurate as a $80 gaming mouse? I might be remembering it wrong as I cant' really find it on Google now.

Some $80 gaming mouses are just $10 mouses anyway. You stick crap in a fancy wrapper, and it's still crap.

This mouse has nothing new that current gaming mice have had for a while. Although I've always liked NZXT products I don't think I'd trust them in the peripheral market.

Of my 30 odd different gaming mice I have had or still have today, I still love my Razer Deathadder above all else. Truly one of the best mice on the market. Simple, amazingly comfortable and excellent tracking.

This NZXT mouse looks to have a similar profile to the Logitech G5 which many find to be a great mouse but I never liked my G5, in fact I gave it away instead of keeping it like a lot of my other mice.
