But seriously, industries that provide essential services like electricity should have never been privatized in the first place...but that's just me.

Agreed.

And NSP now wanting to raise rates to make up for the loss of their biggest customer in order to maintain profit to their shareholders is total BS. You lose a customer, you take a hit... that's how it should work. I gotta get off the grid somehow...
