At my cousins brand new house they drilled into the foundation for a cable and apparently hit a stud dead on, so the guy pulled out the drill and then proceeded to drill another hole a foot away so it would go all the way through. Needless to say he wasn't pleased that he now has two holes going into his new foundation.

I don't think so. They just got it hooked up and left and I guess he didn't put up a fight even though he wasn't happy.

Gord, your 30 should be 40.

Here's my 20 just down the street from Gord.

Think I'll see what ma Bell offers out here in the sticks

Freaking DIAL-UP!!!!!! That's it, I'm not totally in the boonies ffs

Fork Eastlink, I found another HS provider. I had to dig, but the internet goes deep. And they only charge a few bucks more than Bell's so called Dial-up for what Bell calls high speed around here.

If it is TekSavvy their package sounds ok. About the speed of Bell's regular internet, however they are based out of Ontario. Requires an Analog or Digital line (can't be a VOIP line). Install is about $60, reviews are good for customer service, etc.

I've been contemplating it, however not sure I want to move off Eastlink. I'm still on Eastlink's Internet 20 due to no caps in place, and it does what we need.
