64bit (though I'm still running XP for now). I hate the memory hole XP has (I have 4gigs but only 3 show)

I'll be going over to Vista 64 as soon as I can get another computer for my wife to use as she HATES Vista.

I've only used the 32bit flavours myself, but it's time to go back to dual boot Xp Pro and Vista, and I'm not sure which I should get. Unfortunately we didn't get a 64bit version with our MSDN account at work.

I use 32bit on my laptop, and 64 on my desktop, and I find them to be virtually identical.

I have been using Vista 32 bit Home Premium since the day that it came out. A few driver problems at the first, and I have a few older programs that it doesn't work real good with. Otherwise I am satisfied with it. Will probably move to 64 bit when I really need it, but not now.

Maybe a touch slower than XP. But the new upgrade may help some of that.

I have never had any video problems with it.

I am running the following:

E4300 @ 2700(with Freezer Pro)
MSI P6N Platinum board (Nvidia 650 chipset)
BFG 8800GTS 320 OC2 version
Supertalent PC6400 set @ 4-4-4-15
Antec P180 case with 4 120mm fans on high(a little noise doesn't bother me)
Samsung 931BF monitor(19 in)

Denty you are correct. I use the same key to be able to install 64bit and 32bit vista.

Hmmm, buy 64bit, if it blows, borrow the 32bit install from work, use my CD key. I'm guessing this is prior to activation though?

Yes it is. However under my technet subscription when you download vista 32 or 64 bit, you only get one key... so...
