If anybody is finding the game a little choppy even though frame rates are still high just enable the dual vid card option even though you have a single card(don't know why but it works)

If you're finding it choppy during multiplayer bring down the console and type /pb_sleep 500

I have a fairly good gaming rig and while I can't turn on all the eye candy it still runs really well and looks great. From the charlieoscardelta.com forums there aren't many complaints of it running poorly.

First and foremost make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. They can make a world of difference.

Installed and loving it. I still get an annoying DirectX error, but I'll fix it later, it's not that bad.

SWEET, though I managed to hit a savepoint just a millisecond before a car blew up beside me, that was a bitch to get out of.

Yup, this would definitely get my vote for a LAN.

On another note, I finally traded in all my old xbox games at EB and got CoD4, Crysis, and Hellgate London all for free. I'm quite disappointed with Hellgate to be honest, CoD4 is spectacular, and Crysis basically puts my system on it's knees. I can get a constant 30+ FPS with everything at low on 1920x1200, but there's definitely room for improvement ;)

I would have got a new graphics card, but I ordered an Asus Eee today which should be here Friday *fingers crossed*

Anyway, a CoD4 LAN would be spectacular!

Very impressed with the game. Both single player, and multiplayer rock. I find multiplayer has the same feel to it as counter - strike back in the day did (not source...source blows.. Single player was short, but great at the same time.

2 thumbs up

Yeah the multi player has really come through for this game, and although I have only played it on 360, I would definitely be up for a PC LAN of Cod4. Shouldn't be hard to get going, but likely sometime in January. Keep an eye out. ;)

Well I must say COD4 was built pretty well for performance. I just finished playing it on my 9800pro and even thou I had to bring my res down a notch from 1440x900 it was still very playable. I did however find it to be alittle on the short side but I really enjoyed it.

Refering to COD4:MP .. I think it's way to much like BF2142 .. I actually like bf2142 more now after playing this piece of shit. What pisses me off even more is I purchased this game thru steam so now I can't even sell it to someone else. The last 2 games I've purchased(cod4 and 2142) I've regretted both. Well I did enjoy the single player of COD4 ... otherwise it's been a complete waste of 50 bucks and quite frankly I'm pissed. I spent 1000 bucks on an upgrade to play COD4 and orange box(Haven't played OB yet but dunno if i dare to spend another 50 bucks ) .. what a waste .. man I'm so disappointed.
