So I am in the market for a new tv, i will be using it for Watching TV/DVD's as well as a little bit of PC gaming and Wii...I am pretty sure i am going to go with an LCD, I have a budget of approx $1000 or less...now heres the catch...it must be from Circuit City...(Credit Line)...Sorry if this infringes on forum rules but i am looking for a bit of input...currently i am looking at 2 models..

LG 32LG30 and

SONY KLD32L4000

any recomendations?

go with Toshiba. i have owned 6 lcd tvs so far. lg was the 2nd runner up. Philips junk crap response time.
go look up the Toshiba regza series tv. i have the 32 inch version for my tv/computer.
im too lazy to go look at circuit city to see if they sell Toshiba. but if they dont they should!
and btw where do we have a circuit city? is that the source?

I haven't really kept up with TV's and prices, but I would highly recommend getting something that does 1080p if the prices aren't too high.

I also know people that swear by Samsung and the nicer Sony ones, but they might be out of your price range.

samsung and lg through my personal experiences have the better quality of picture, lg is nice cause they have a 2 yr warranty where as everyone else is a 1 yr (as far as i know) sony, they can suck a fucking cock. panasonic are also really nice, but over priced.

and this is how i look at it,

for example, if a 32 inch and 37inch are the same prcie, the picture quality is going to be better on the 32, so thats what i would go with

1080P will be more than your budget however. I really like the looks of the LG. I've had a couple now & never had a complaint yet. It's 720P so it'll have a good quality pic also.

yeah The Source is what i meant. I know i shoudlnt buy there, but oh well, its a start. 1yr no Payments and No intrest, plus i save $25 on my first T.V. purchase. Plus on any cables i need to buy...HDMI/Componet. I also have made my decision on the LG, i have heard the black levels arent quite up to par as on other entry leveled LCD's but that is pretty much the only down side I have read about. So anyways I will be picking her up tommorow afternoon.

P.S. This whole T.V. buying came after My GF and Myself house sitted for her uncle. He who has a 50" Sanyo...so heres a little math.

50" Sanyo LCD + Radeon HD 4850 + Crysis on High + Me =$1000 debt...

sigh..oh well I only live once.

Sanyo is COMPLETELY the way to go...beautiful televisions.
Far better deal if you can pick it up from Costco.
They include shipping in the price, they extend the warranty to 2 years, there's a 90 day no hassle return policy...it all adds up to be a pretty sweet deal.
Its $999 for a 37" Sharp Aquos.
Its not 1080p (only 1080i) but still its a great deal on an "entry level" tv.
I have a friend that picked on of them up and he has been very happy.
No payment plan though, or I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a cupcake.
