 Post subject: LCD tv as PC monitor.

is it just as clear when hooked via vga cord.its little blurry with s video.32inch lcd.b4 i waste money on the male to male vga cord can someone thats done it write me back.

it is alittle blurry, doesnt your monitor have a male to male you could use? hdmi or dvi is the way to go..

no its not fuzzy at all. looks just like a monitor. but not as high of resolution's.

i use a 32inch lcd tv for a monitor with a regular vga cable and it looks fine. hdmi is not the way to go yet. i have doen the hdmi thing wiht my computer and the picture quallity isnt that great.
what kind of tv are u useing?

The TV quality is definitely dependant on what your picture is going to look like. You can get alot of info from the user manual of course on that.

I have had best results on a HDMI to DVI-I cable. That way one end hooks right to your computer and the hdmi will hook to your TV. Theres also a DVI-I to HDMI adapter to use on your computer if you only have a HDMI Cable.


I used a S Video connection and had horrible results. So I would personally avoid that.

yeah svideo looks liek crap goin to a tv. hdmi looks allrite. vga or dvi looks the best. i use just a vga cable with my toshiba 32inch tv and its as clear as any monitor. im just limited to resoloutions

why didnt any put in that HDMI also carries an audio signal. which is very convienent

yeah same here. all i need to send is video signal. i got a wicked sound system hooked rite up to my computer. before tho hdmi was usefull when i had my surround sound dvd player hone theator.
