im lookin at gettin some ddr 1066 memory for my pc.
any recommendations.
i was lookin at this

OCZ PC2-8500 Reaper Heatpipe Edition 4GB (2x2GB) 1066MHz 5-5-5-18 (2.1V) eta Mid July

i ended up gettin a smokin deal on this axeram 1066 2x2gb . only one problem. my mother board supports ddr 1066 memory. but when i put my computer to stock the ram only reads at 800 mhz. the hell is up with that

your bios may have trouble reading the 2GB modules properly. if you mnually set it to 1066 in the bios it should work just fine.

yeah i set it to 1066 without changeing the memory voltages. or timings.and she just wont boot up .lol
computer picks up the chips as 800mhz 5-5-5-18
all my overclocking ive done so far was with the ram at 800mhz. shouldnt i be able to run it at 1066 when overclocked.
this p5n-t mother board is fucked. too many options that i dont have any idea about. lol
i have also done the bios update to 1001 or something. newest one
