well im in the shop today, and a customer comes to me and asks for a hard drive. and i asked if he a had a preference western digital or sea gate, he said " you dont have maxtor diamons?" LMAO he told me they are the best drives around. i thought to myself wtf

Well there are worse drives out there. The Fujitsu 7200rpm drives or their IBM Deathstar clones come to mind.

that's when you calmly inform the customer that seagate bought out maxtor and to get the same level of qualty (by the customer's perception of course) you should buy a seagate.

of course you laugh later. lol

Think anyone can find me a good Connor drive anymore?
I loved the 100M drive I had in my 386, it was rock solid and a great performer...

EDIT: Thinking about that drive got me wondering what I ever did with that...and after some frantic searching I found the old beast; Conner Peripherals model CP-3104. I think this is it anyways...now to see if I can still read it.
