Got Crysis Warhead and playing it is next to impossible unless you can handle playing at 10-25 fps. :( Running a 8800GT and E6550 with 2gb ram in XP. Now I know this isn't a top line system but good fawking god even on low settings and res it's unplayable.

Only game out of the last 4 or 5 that I got that played well and was enjoyable was COD World at War. Loved it .. and in turn purchased the retail version. The rest of the junk I'm glad I downloaded.

Hey Lobsta what settings are you playing warhead on cause i have almost the exact same setup and it runs great even better then crysis but yet i get some slowdown in COD WAW which i dont understand cause i frap it at 50fps during these hitches(read somewhere it is a nvidia driver issue)

Turns out I can run any resolution right up to 1680x1050 however turning AA on even 2x makes it totally unplayable. Also have to set details down to minimum. By the time i do all that it looks shitty .. lets hope the gameplay makes up for it.

COD WAW runs smooth as can be maxed out on most everything too.

Thats it-you need a super highend pc to enable aa in any crysis game but its the only game i think looks really good without aa.In cod waw i get some slowdown when assualting the german hill with all the sparks flying around but it shouldnt be slowing down there cause i fraps it at 50 fps unless fraps is wrong.
