yeah i got a beta key form ms a few weeks ago. i installed it on my system on a dual boot. well tri boot xp vista and 7.
it runs nice but still some issues with some games and direct x issues.
and of course the usual ms program incompatibility. but i have made 99% of it all work.

one thing i noticed rite off the get go was it used ALOT less ram when idle then vista does.
on vista my pc sits about 2gb used 2gb free 99% of the time.
with windows 7 its down around 1 gb used or less.

these are all my thoughts at the moment on it.

it looks promising

I've been using it on my laptop for a couple weeks. I've run into a couple problems, but nothing major. Obvious bugs, that will be fixed.

Overall, I like it a lot, and it's a big improvement from Vista (which isn't even that bad in itself)

I just picked up another 3 gigs of ram for a total of 6...so now I need to install a new 64bit copy of Windows 7. I have started running a lot of VM's as I am learning about honey pots so I want to utilize the extra ram so it doesn't slow my system down.

Loves me some Se7en. It's running like a dream for me.

On a side note: Lighthouses rule.
