Shoveled all night last night just to get up and shovel again today BEFORE WORK. Was bad here in NG, no sidewalks plowed til after 6, people were running the risk of getting run over walking on the narrow, snow covered roads.

Go away winter!

I've already seen an ambulance racing down Burnside drive once today and heard it once more later on the Circ... should be a "fun" drive home...

OK, give me the snow, it's a hell of a lot easier to shovel than ice pellets. Image

It took me 10 minutes this morning to even just get into my car the ice was so thick on it. Even then it was the passenger-side door that I was able to crack in to so I had to crawl over to start the car and then crawl back out to scrap for another 10-15 minutes. Even by the time I got to work the heat didn't thaw my door enough and shouldering it several times didn't open it either so I had to crawl back over to the other side to get out again. :(

I had to call in sick for work today, among other reasons I took one look at the big fscking snowpile the truck was kind enough to dump in front of my car. Took me 25 minutes to cut a channel throw the pile this afternoon and hopefully it doesn't get plowed over for tomorrow.

Smashed up my bumper cover (lower ground effects part) over the past few weeks due to shiit snow removal. While I was taping it up (clear duct tape) in a Wendy's parking lot a guy who had a diff year Malibu sitting in his yard (has a auto body shop) saw me and gave me his card. As long as it's in good shape I'll be saving some money, as I was going to paint it this summer anyways and the colour doesn't mean much. I'll take some pics and post to show ya how much I bang it around the lot heh. It's only 100$ for a after-market part anyways, I just personally have no idea on how to remove it.

SMASHING PLASTIC FTW!

The street I'm on is still a dirt road so the last time the plow came through I had to shovel more dirt and rocks off the end of my driveway than there was snow. Oh, and my lock froze shut Friday night by the time I got home at 10pm... we were stuck out in the cold wind for 30 minutes with a lighter before we were able to get in. :(
