Looking for someone who can repair scratched circuit boards.

Will pay. The board is from a xbox 360 and will pay for repair.

Scratch is about 1/4 of a inch.

Thanks

B

Are you saying the trace is severed?

I think the Source may still have trace repair kits for signal only and not advised to use on power carrying traces.

However, if you can trace it out and find a solder point at both ends, then you can solder a wire from end to end and bypass the break.

Similar to this

I could look at it first and give you an opinion on my ability to repair it and if it might be a power trace or not.

Can you tell if the ends go to IC chips and if so, can you get a number from the chip and pin number or leg. Unfortunately, I do not have an open XBOX 360 of which to reference your photos.

The smallest stuff I have on hand is 30AWG Kynar wire.

I've repaired a few XBOXs, mostly ring of death and installation of tying the metal chassis to the CPU and GPU heat sinks.

If I can do it, no problem, no charge, and glad to help.

Is that trace actually severed? It simply looks like you've scratched off the soldermask, in which case, there isn't any critical problem.

34 gauge magnet wire is the smallest I've got. Lovely stuff for little things like this. :D

If Skiman can't do anything about it, I'd be happy to give it a look over and see what I can do for you. I'd never ask anything in return for something like this :)

Just out of curiosity, though... how'd you manage to do this?

An aside note: Try setting your camera to Macro Mode (usually the icon with the flower I believe) for close-up shots like this to reduce your focus range and get a sharper shot. :)

Good luck with the fix too.
