yes, Ambient upstairs where the pc is , is quite warm. Downstairs it would be about 8-10 degrees cooler.

It's called EL wire. There is also EL tape. I just put that on there as a test don't really have a better idea on what to do with it... I got it at a local PC shop on clearance. Oh and it's green not blue that's why I put it around the amd cpu hehe...

Never heard of it but it looks neat. Does it use a ballast?

Any inverter will work and you can combine multiple lines to make it as long as you want, you can also cut it anywhere without breaking it. Just wish I had a better idea on what to do with it...

So I broke down and went and picked up the H50.

Did the AMD mounting hardware come with the H50?The specs say it only ships with intel hardware with AMD as special order.

Yes it came with the proper hardware and simple instructions to mount.

Was a bit of a pain in the rear for me to install. Motherboad removal, removal of the V8, the back plate changed out etc. New one installed. Set up the case fan in the back and screwed the rad to it as that fan is a three speed.

Also screwed another fan to it - the corsair one that came with the H50 to the front for push/pull.

The air should be coming into the case through the rad...I guess not much choice if you don't have a fan blowing out. You should just reverse the fans and have the one on the window blowing out.
