Mmmm, is my Antec TPII 480W gonna be enough for my Q6600? The online calculator thingy thinks so.

As long as you don't stick two 8800 Ultra cards in there, yes.

what's the wattage of the CPU and what's the total amperage of the 12V rail(s)?

My 500w Seasonic is holding my system perfectly fine at 4ghz. You should be fine, it really does take a lot more than people think to max out a PSU (although, a little extra juice is never bad :))

95W, 36A with the little * as well saying the combined rails are actually only 460W

I should be OK, a co-worker had the same PSU powering a freaking 6000+ and that's 30W above and beyond a Q6600. Though a 650W Seasonic is tempting.

that psu should cover you just fine. although, as david said, more power never hurts.

Hmmm, thinking I need more juice. I'll have to do some current measurements this weekend.

I am currently running the SeaSonic 650 watt PSU. And i like it alot. Souly because of the fact it has a really nice 120mm fan on it and the entire back of it is an open grid for air flow. Its a really nice unit !

Hmmm, I'm thinking about ordering the Antec Truepower Trio 650W

http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?o ... &Itemid=47

A quick check of the UL # shows it's actually made by Seasonic

MB's got nothing in stock with better rails than my present TP-II

Wow :O

When I need something MB doesn't have and have to order it I get it in two to three business days, you aren't having very good luck lately.
