but i am ready for any challange anyone wants to bring

Going to be 4.8Ghz? You mean you haven't got someone to get it there for you yet?

Nothing so sweet as getting it there for youself.

E8500 holding what record?

A Q9770 holds Vantage top spot,

E8600 hold top 06.

My old CPU scores on this dog 9450 still has you beat by a few hundred.

The latest benches for an i7 965 I can find, run with an ES @ default and very slight OC to 3.77 with single and crossfire 4870s (non x2 512MB variant).

I think based upon this, that when x2 are added alone, they are going hover around 30k, never mind any higher clocks on anyhting.

I don't think those are X2s. Both cards have the 6 pin connectors vs the 8 and 6, and the screen shot shows 512MB.

Only took a quick glance & everything is in some weird numerical script for me also.

Now that I took a closer look they are just 4870's as I see the dual 6pin sockets. Quite observant you guys are lol. To bad they didn't use the best for this test. It would have made for much better 3dMark score I would imagine.
